How do I verify my business in the Meta Business Suite?
Why do you need to verify your business?
Business verification confirms to Meta that your business is a legitimate legal entity. It will also increase your daily business-initiated messaging limit from 200 to 2,000 once your business portfolio is verified.
Meta also states that only eligible businesses will see the option to start verification. If the verification option is not available for you, it will be available after we connect your WhatsApp to Saysimple.
Before you begin
Before starting the verification process, make sure that:
You have full control (admin rights) of the business portfolio in Meta Business Suite.
Your business details are correct, such as the legal business name, address, phone number, and website.
You have any official business documents ready in case Meta asks you to upload them. These documents may be used if Meta cannot verify your business automatically.
How to verify your business in the Meta Business Suite
To verify your business in Meta Business Suite:
Open Meta Business Suite
Go to Settings
Open the Security Center
Click Start verification if the option is available
Enter your business details
Upload official documents if Meta requests them
Submit the verification request for review
If you do not see the option to start verification, your business may not currently be eligible. This usually means that your business portfolio is not yet eligible for verification, you do not have full control of the portfolio, or your business details are not fully set up in a way Meta can verify. After connecting your WhatsApp number to Saysimple, the option to verify your business portfolio will open up.
How to check the verification status
You can check the status of your business verification in the Security Center in Meta Business Suite. This is where Meta shows whether your verification is in progress, approved, or if more information is needed. A decision on your verification submission may take up to 14 business days.
