How do I delete my WhatsApp mobile app account?

If you want to migrate an existing WhatsApp number to a WhatsApp Business Account in the Saysimple platform, you first need to remove the account that is still active in the WhatsApp Messenger app or the WhatsApp Business app. This is necessary because Meta requires the number to be removed from the app before it can be migrated to a business account. 

Before you begin

Make sure you still have access to the phone that uses the WhatsApp number you want to migrate. Also check whether the number is currently active in WhatsApp Messenger or WhatsApp Business, because you need to remove that account in the app first. 

Step-by-step

1. Go to Settings. 

2. Open Account. 

3. Select Delete my account. 

4. Follow the steps shown in the app to complete the account removal. 

After this step, you can continue the migration process to connect the number to the Saysimple platform.
